What is the dress code for PowerLIVE?

Can I invite guests to the ceremony?

Student Awardees are only permitted to bring ONE GUEST due to space limitations. Seating is reserved for guests who secured thier tickets ONLY. To include your guest ticket, add 2 to the ticket count.
While you may not be able to bring additional guests, your loved ones can still cheer you on virtually via the Office of Housing & Residence Life and Housing's Facebook and YouTube channels at 6:00 PM.

Can faculty/staff nominees bring an additional guest?

Due to the guest capacity, faculty and staff cannot bring an additional guest to this year's ceremony.

I forgot to add an additional guest, can I add one now?

If time and space permits, you maybe able to add a guest. Send us an email and we will add you to the list.

I forgot to Secure my Ticket, can I still attend the ceremony?

If seats remain unclaimed, awardees who have not secured a ticket can submit a formal request via email aeptutor@morgan.edu We will process your request and check availability. However, should seating capacity be reached, we regret to inform you that additional guests cannot be accommodated.

How can I pick up my award if I cannot attend the ceremony?

If you are unable to attend the ceremony, please complete the following form: Awardee Absence Form (Student Awardees Only) We will be coordinating award retrieval after the ceremony.

I no longer attend Morgan State, how can I get my award?

If you no longer Reside on Campus or attend Morgan State and you are unable to attend the ceremony, Please complete this form.

If I live in state can I have my award mailed?

No. Only awardees who have graduated or no longer attend Morgan State will have their award(s) mailed.

If I did not nominate a faculty member, can I still attend the ceremony?

What cohort am I in?

All awardees have a cohort. You are either a Residential Scholar, Athletic Scholar, Residential & Distuinguished Scholar, CASA Scholar, EMERGE Scholar, Mile Awardee or EVOLVE Awardee. You can view your cohort on the PowerLIVE Webpage.
If you are in two cohorts, you can only secure a ticket for one cohort.
